Page2Stage is a poetry workshop led by Wakefield Brewster, exploring the process of both writing and performing poetry. This workshop is a come-one-come-all affair, with a special invite to youth.

No registration needed so just drop in on Wednesdays 5:30-7:00pm and get prepared for the final performance on July 4th!

12CSI MONTHLY PLANNING MEETING
Everyone is welcome to join us for our monthly meeting as we plan for our upcoming activities. It is an opportunity to bring together our major teams and to interact with representatives of partner organizations, the City of Calgary, the Calgary Police Service, and our provincial and municipal government. We hold it on the second Thursday of the month from 9:15am-11:15am at the Dover Community Centre (3133-30 Avenue SE). The first hour will always be an informative presentation on subjects of interest to the public and East Calgary agencies. This is an awesome way to get involved in your community. Women's Safety Circle

WOMEN'S SAFETY CIRCLE
Meeting once a month, we are creating a safe space at the City of Calgary's Forest Lawn office, a.k.a. the Bubble Building (3810-17 Avenue SE), at 6:30pm-8:30pm. You are welcome to attend if you are female or identify as female (transgender friendly). All ages. All cultures. All orientations. Children welcome. Please feel free to invite anyone that would be interested in joining the circle. But no men please.

Tea/coffee and light snacks provided.

This is in partnership with 12 Community Safety Initiative - 12CSI's Diversity Team, City of Calgary – Your Local Government, Antyx Community Arts, Calgary Catholic Immigration Society CCIS and Action Dignity (formerly Ethno-Cultural Council of Calgary).

12CSI'S DIVERSITY TRAINING SERIES

12CSI's Diversity Team is be offering a six-part Diversity Training Series during the first hour of our monthly meetings, approximately 9:15am to 10:15am. We are inviting the general public and any interested agencies to attend these FREE sessions. Certificates will be provided to everyone who attends all six parts but you may attend any or all of the sessions. We will follow each session with our regular committee meetings and reports so please arrive on time and be prepared for a challenge.
