12CSI is built on volunteership and community involvement.

12CSI is primarily a volunteer organization depending on community members to help us accomplish our mission and objectives.

If you would like to get more involved in your community and the surrounding area, please send an email to info@12csi.ca or fill out the following form, and we will find an opportunity for you.

    Some ways to volunteer

    Get involved

    Become a member of your community association, actively participate, and get involved

    Help seniors

    Spend time with a senior at home: visit, assist with errands, fix things, or accompany grocery shopping

    Local school

    Be available to help in the office or supervise students at lunch hour at a neighbourhood school

    Help cleaning

    Participate in the Annual Pathway and River Cleanup held on the first Sunday in May

    Help newcomers

    Help newcomers with reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and language skills

    Food Bank

    Help deliver Calgary Food Bank food hampers to offsite depots at certain times each week

    Find groups

    That is helping Calgary’s less fortunate and get involved in whatever they might require

    Food Centre

    Help organize the community gardens at the Alex Community Food Centre

    Distress Centre

    Provide support, crisis intervention, info and referrals through the Distress Centre Crisis
